MORE NAMES FOR SWINDON
Wednesday 18th February 2015
by Mike Hunter
Some additional names have been lined up for the International Four Team event in the seventh Ben Fund Bonanza at Swindon on Sunday 8th March (4pm).
The young Pole Jakub Jamrog, keen to find a berth in British Speedway, will line up for his country's quartet alongside the already-named Szymon Wozniak. He's 23, has just won the Argentinian Championship and has one or two UK appearances already on his record. He scored 8 points in the Berwick staging of the Ricky Ashworth Benefit at the end of 2013.

Added to Rory Schlein for the Australian quartet will be Nick Morris on his home circuit, and Workington's Rusty Harrison who has announced that this will be his final season – and who like Rory has en early season Testimonial.

Rusty said “I realised that Paul might be looking for riders with all the visa problems. The Ben Fund meeting has been running for a few years now and I've just never had a chance to have a go in it before. To get the opportunity to ride in it before I retire at the end of the season is fantastic.

“We're thinking of heading home in November / December once we get a visa for my partner.”

Hospitality sponsorship packages for the Bonanza are available, contact sponsorship manager Julie Reading on 07931 318401 for details.
