Ben Fund Bonanza returns to Leicester

This year's Ben Fund Bonanza in support of the Speedway Riders Benevolent Fund will be staged at Leicester on Sunday 17th March, start time 2pm.
The Paul Chapman & Sons Arena thus becomes the first venue to stage the event for the second time, having previously held it in 2014. This year's event (which will be the tenth in the series) will be an individual event. Last year of course proposed events at Peterborough (pre-season) and Redcar (late season) both failed to take place so this will be an important event for the riders being supported.

Lions' long-serving Club official Alan Jones welcomed the decision to bring the Bonanza back to Leicester. "Our previous staging of the Bonanza was a very successful day with one of the highest attendances I believe. We're in the middle of the country with good road structures so we are well placed for most fans.

"We are looking forward to a good season in both the Championship and the National League which should mean Saturday night will be speedway night in Leicester throughout the summer, and the Bonanza is a great way to start."
