Belle Vue proved themselves the top team in the UK last season, so fittingly they will be well represented in the Ben Fund Bonanza by Charles Wright and Tom Brennan, when the event is staged for the 13th time at King's Lynn on Saturday 25th March (5pm).

Steve Worrall has always been a big supporter of the Benevolent Fund with five previous appearances in the Bonanza, including a second place at Scunthorpe in 2020, so he was quick to sign up for this year's 75th Anniversary event (King's Lynn, 25th March at 5pm).

The Speedway Rider Benevolent Fund is a registered Charity, established to support injured riders racing in the UK. The Charities funds come from several sources throughout the year, including donation, track collections and other fund-raising events. One our biggest fund raiser is the annual Ben Fund Bonanza. 2023 is a big year for the SRBF as we are celebrating our 75th Anniversary and we are pleased to announce this year's 'Bonanza' meeting is being held Kings Lynn Speedway on Saturday 25th March.

The two riders announced this week as competitors in this year's Ben Fund Bonanza have a strong King's Lynn connection – 2023 team member Michael Palm Toft, and Lewis Kerr who has something like 7 seasons with the senior King's Lynn side on his record.

The sport of Speedway and the Speedway Riders Benevolent Fund have suffered a sad loss with the passing of well-known referee David Dowling. Dave and his wife Maureen have been an ever-present support and help in SRBF affairs, especially the Bonanza, for which they have purchased the trophies and medals for the past ten years (and had already done so for this year's event).

Two more names have been added to the lineup for the Ben Fund Bonanza (King's Lynn, Saturday 25th May at 5pm). They are regular competitor Danny King who will be riding in his ninth Bonanza, and Connor Mountain who will be racing in the event for the third time.
