Unfortunately there has had to be another change of plans for the Ben Fund Bonanza at Workington, and the meeting will not now be staged on Sunday 24th as planned. This is due to commitments abroad which meant that the majority of riders would have been unavailable.

Bad news for everyone planning to head for Workington for the Ben Fund Bonanza on Saturday is that the meeting has had to be called off in advance due to the weather. At least there is an early restaging on Sunday 24th March at 2pm.

Anyone unable to attend the World Speedway Riders Association-backed Ben Fund Bonanza at Workington on Saturday 16th March at 2pm will still be able to see the event as for the second year running, it will be streamed live by the British Speedway Network. During the afternoon, Dan Bewley's Team GB race suit which he has kindly donated, will be auctioned.

To complete what is probably the best Ben Fund Bonanza lineup since the famous Rye House event of 2010, the meeting organisers are this week adding Brady Kurtz, Kyle Howarth, Jye Etheridge and Norick Blodorn to the field for Workington on Saturday 16th March (2pm).
