The Speedway Riders Benevolent Fund is always grateful for donations as they seek to look after the injured riders, and they have received a generous contribution of £350 from David Lavender of Northwold Sports and Social club following a raffle held at a recent Talk-In which featured star riders Scott Nicholls and Jason Doyle.

Mark Anderson and his Blast from the Past team have shown their support for the SRBF with a generous contribution of £1,284 from the raffle of their spectacular race jackets worn during this year's tour of the country. They staged entertaining England v Scotland events at several tracks during the summer.

The SRBF were again present at the annual WSRA Awards Dinner at Leicester last weekend, a happy occasion and a successful one. We were also part of the Awards Ceremony itself.

The Speedway Show was held at Gaydon this weekend and thanks to our band of volunteers, the Speedway Riders Benevolent Fund had a successful day at their stall, as always working hard to raise funds for the benefit of injured riders.
