This Sunday 11th May between 11am and 5pm the Longsight and District Sports and Social Club will be staging an exhibition "Belle Vue's Bikes, Beers, Books and Broadsides"! Just £3 cash to get in and all profits are being donated to the Speedway Riders Benevolent Fund.

The great Walk Speedway group duly completed their 107 mile walk from Berwick to Redcar on Friday night when they arrived at the Ecco Arena around 7pm, in good time to be greeted by fans arriving for the match v Workington.

The intrepid walkers in the Walk Speedway fundraiser are finding their 107 mile trek just as tough and maybe tougher than they expected, but boosted by support from some stars of Speedway and from supporters, they will not be beaten in their quest to reach Redcar!
