The riders involved all appreciate the importance of having a good day's racing and raising as much as possible for the Speedway Riders' Benevolent Fund; most of them have been right behind the project for years. If you can't be there, you can still watch the meeting because it will be streamed live on the British Speedway Network, the first meeting of the UK season for the much-admired streaming service.

The field for the Ben Fund Bonanza at Allied Ashfield Stadium on Saturday 28th at 6pm is now complete with the announcement of Leon Flint, Sam Hagon and (of course) Ben Barker. The remaining name should have been Charles Wright but his sad misfortune at Redcar's opening meeting has put paid to that and Edinburgh's Kye Thomson comes in to replace him.

Added to the lineup for the Ben Fund Bonanza at Glasgow on 28th March (6pm) are former British Champion Adam Ellis, Berwick signing Victor Palovaara and the returning Dan Gilkes. It has also been agreed that the meeting will be streamed live by the British Speedway Network for the fourth consecutive year. Two further additions to the lineup for the Ben Fund Bonanza should both find that they are well supported in the Glasgow event – Berwick's Nick Morris and Workington's Tate Zischke join the list of contenders. Zischke makes his Bonanza debut but Morris makes his fifth appearance having won at Swindon in 2015 and also made the final at Leicester the year before.
