We have been blown away by the response to the 2022 Ben Fund Bonanza, and with Spring in the air word is reaching us of some incredible fundraising plans.
John Curtis, for example, has pledged to walk from Ipswich's Foxhall Stadium to Cardiff's Principality Stadium in order to raise money for the SRBF.
His route covers a total of 261 miles, and he is aiming to walk at least 30 miles per day when he sets off on August 4.
John said: "After a lot of thought, I decided to focus my fundraising and support to the BEN Fund, though I will be aiming to complete a separate fundraiser on behalf of Mind another time.
"My route is finalised (apart from me getting lost) and will total 261 miles. I've broken it up and am aiming for an average of around 30 miles per day, as I want to push myself but maintain something achievable.
"I've already had a positive response from the hotel for my first night's stay, who are supplying a room and breakfast for free which is great news.
"I've also spoken to Scott Nicholls, who is really keen to support this and, if schedules allow, wants to participate in one of the legs.
"I'll record and share all of my experiences and updates as I go up to and during the walk through my JustGiving page so when new people do look, they will see the journey and momentum gained."
