❗️FIELD UPDATE - MARCH 25❗️A few late changes to the 2022 Ben Fund Bonanza has seen the line-up amended as follows: James Sergeant, Steve Worrall, Richard Lawson and Benjamin Basso will race in place of Thomas Jorgensen, Kyle Howarth, Charles Wright and Anders Rowe.

THE 2022 Ben Fund Bonanza is now complete with the addition of high-flying Ryan Douglas, Simon Lambert, Nick Morris, Kyle Howarth, Tom Brennan and Anders Rowe to the field.

They join Ben Barker, Ulrich Ostergaard, Sam Masters, Josh Auty, Scott Nicholls, Lewis Kerr, Charles Wright, Danny King, Paul Starke and Thomas Jorgensen in the line-up.

This key fixture for the charity accounts for 25% of our total yearly income, raising vital fund to support injured riders and their families in the short and long term.

The flagship event of the Speedway Riders Benevolent Fund is now only weeks away from touchdown at the East of England Arena, Peterborough on March 27.

And in a surprise twist, this year's meeting has taken inspiration from Belle Vue Speedway's Peter Craven Memorial for its grand finale.

A total of five riders will contest the final heat of the day to determine who will triumph at the East of England Arena and win bragging rights in the 2022 event.

SRBF chairman Paul Ackroyd said: "It has been two years since the last bonanza meeting and we wanted to do something a little bit different and thrilling for this year.

"Belle Vue's 6-rider final in the Peter Craven Memorial was something to behold and given the size and shape of Peterborough we felt there was sufficient room to somewhat replicate this.

"We are very grateful to all of the riders for their cooperation in making our five-rider final happen, and we are sure it will make this year's meeting one of the most exciting!

"We're very excited about the field we've put together. It's been a tough couple of years without the Bonanza and we hope to see plenty of people on March 27."
