Although he is not able to ride in the meeting, King's Lynn Stars rider Nicolai Klindt is keen to make a contribution to the cause of the Benevolent Fund, and so his Stars' race suit from last season will be one of the sought-after items to be auctioned at the Bonanza at King's Lynn on Saturday (start time 5pm, gates open 3:30pm).
"It's a thoughtful offer from Nicolai, and I know he was disappointed that other commitments stopped him being on the track on Saturday," said SRBF chairman Paul Ackroyd.
"We will have a few items available for the auction which I think people will be interested in bidding for."
Admission prices for Saturday's event are £22 (adults), £20 (OAPs and students), £5 (children 5 to 16) and younger children free. The Souvenir meeting magazine is £4.
