Dan heads the field for Bonanza restaging

Grand Prix Superstar and local hero Dan Bewley will head the field when the Ben Fund Bonanza restaging takes place at Workington's GT Tyres Arena on Sunday 14th July (3pm). It's a great boost for the event that Dan is fitting it in to his busy international schedule though there are plenty of other riders competing who will fancy lowering his colours on the day.

SRBF Chairman Paul Ackroyd comments "We are delighted that Dan is in a position to race in the meeting and also that quite a few of the riders who were in the original field can return. We are in discussions with other good quality riders to complete the field.@

There are three former winners in the field (King, Cook and Barker). With a few names still to be finalized, others who will be racing in the event designed to boost the coffers of the Very important Speedway Riders Benevolent Fund are:

Danny King (Redcar/Ipswich) - tyre & fuel sponsorship still available

Ben Barker (Plymouth) - rider sponsorship & mascot opportunities still available

Simon Lambert (Scunthorpe) - rider sponsorship & tyre & fuel sposnorship still available

Justin Sedgmen (Edinburgh/Birmingham) - tyre & fuel sponsorship & mascot opportunities still available

Paul Starke (Glasgow) - rider sponsoship is available

Norick Blodorn (Belle Vue) - rider sponsoship & macot opportunities still available

Kyle Howarth (Scunrhorpe/Sheffield) - tyre & fuel sponsirship & mascot opportunities still available

Craig Cook (Workington/Leicester) - rider sponsorhip still available

Lewis Kerr (Berwick/Oxford)

Dan Bewley had previously donated his Team GB race suit from 2023, and the supporter who won it has kindly re-donated it. It will be auctioned on the day of the Bonanza.
