The Speedway Riders' Benevolent Fund has once again benefitted from the Track collections held around the country during the season just completed. This year's total is £24,381.89, slightly down on last season due to the loss of four tracks (though a higher average per track).

Highest contributors for the third year running were Ipswich with £2,386.61. The Witches will receive their award at the WSRA at the Annual Gala Dinner and Awards night on 9th November.

Championship clubs Berwick, Edinburgh and Glasgow were the next three highest contributors.

SRBF Chairman Paul Ackroyd said "The Trustees of the SRBF are very grateful to all the fans who have contributed and the riders who have gone out to assist with the collecting, it's another great effort."
