Berwick's Danish racer Bastian Borke has kindly expressed his gratitude for assistance to the Speedway Riders Benevolent Fund, in a recent internet post.

He suffered a serious injury riding for the Bandits at Poole last season. He has said "I just wanted to take a moment to express how grateful I am for the incredible support I've received from the Speedway Riders Benevolent Fund. Their help has made a huge difference during a tough time, and I can't thank them enough.

"The Ben Fund does amazing work supporting injured riders, providing vital assistance when we need it most. If you're able to, please consider donating and helping.

"Thank you again to everyone at the Ben Fund – you're a massive part of this sport!"
