Popular English star Tom Brennan, who already has an excellent record in the event, leapt from the gate in the final of the 2025 Ben Fund Bonanza, and sped to victory.

The organisers can now look back on a very successful Bonanza. The attendance was good and there was enough exciting racing to satisfy everyone. The weather threatened, and there was some rain, but it never spoilt the entertainment. There were a could of fallers who probably had bent machinery to tend to, but no-one missed the following day's Premiership KO Cup matches.

Highlights of the first set of races saw Peter Kildemand announce his return to UK Speedway with a great outside burst past Maciej Janowski in heat 2. Two heats later, Spires' fans were happy once more when Rohan Tungate (late addition to the field) caught Ben Barker on the final lap. Ben would also be happy with his opening heat.

After the next set of heats the unbeaten riders were Freddie Lindgren and Sam Masters, with Charles Wright on 5 points. Even though gate 4 yielded a miserable 13 points all night, Swede Freddie kept his winning run going off that gate ion heat 9 against the formidable lineup of Masters, Brennan and Tungate.

Notable heats in the third quartet of races were heat 10 with Ben Barker the early leader but both Musielak and Wright battling past. Heat 12 saw the best of Justin Sedgmen whose wide line was profitable against both Doyle and King, an excellent race win for Sedgy.

Heats continued to be hard-fought without any exceptional action over the closing qualifying heats, though heat 20 was interesting as Freddie Lindgren again showed his quality in passing Janowski. Freddie did have a surprising last place along the way though, with gate 4 in heat 14 this time stopping even Freddy's progress.

Qualifiers direct to the final were Lindgren and Wright, and they were joined by Tom Brennan and Tobiasz Musielak the first two in the semi-final.

It was a case of coming good when it mattered for Tom Brennan who went on to win the final after a strong first bend, thereby making him the 13th different BFB winner in the 15 meetings. He is the second youngest winner at 23 (Nick Morris was 20 when he won at Swindon in 2015).
