Another injured star says thanks

On 18 May, Dan Thompson suffered a scaphoid injury following a crash during the British Under-21 Final - ending his hopes of claiming the title in his final year of eligibility.
The Speedway Riders Benevolent Fund reached out to Thompson immediately to offer our support. We have since provided financial assistance during his time away from racing, as well as contributing towards costs associated with his recovery and return to the track.
Thompson has now received a well-earned wildcard entry into the SGP2 series. Our assistance has played a role in helping him recover in time to compete on the international stage.
Thompson said: "Without the Speedway Riders Benevolent Fund, I wouldn't be in a position to even consider returning to racing within a couple of weeks. I can't thank them enough for reaching out and supporting me."
