The Trustees of the Speedway Riders Benevolent Fund have been saddened to hear the news that Graham Miles, former Canterbury, West Ham and Hackney rider has passed away, aged 75.
Graham was the victim of a serious crash in 1971 that had subsequently confined him to a wheelchair, but he was well known as a very upbeat guy, a participant on the comedy circuit and a former president of the World Speedway Riders Association (2014). He will be greatly missed.
Graham was a regular attender at the Ben Fund Bonanza and at WSRA events. Everyone from the SRBF sends condolences to his wife Roz and family.
