The Speedway Riders Benevolent Fund has been called into action this season more than anyone can recall due to an unprecedented number of crashes causing injury and absence from matches.
Paul Ackroyd reported "It's happening every weekend, it's the worst start we've made to any season since I've been involved and I suppose it once again shows how vital the Ben Fund is in helping riders out.
"We can only do this thanks to the great support and generosity of the fans of British Speedway."
The SRBF is the only such organisation in World Speedway.
